Limerick County is a major golf facility in south-west Ireland ideally located 27km from shannon Airport  and close to other Irish Golf courses such as  Lahinch, Ballybunion, and Killarney.  Limerick County Golf Club comprises of a championship-standard Golf Course, Driving range spectacular Clubhouse, and over 100 luxury homes. The course, originally designed by Irish Ryder cup player Des Smyth and Declan Brannigan & Associates, meanders over undulating, sand-based terrain and provides firm footing for the golfer throughout the year. Des has made excellent use of the landscape and this provides for some spectacular second shots, particularly on the front nine holes.
